About Crop Image
Cropping is the most common image edit there is: squaring an avatar, trimming dead space from a screenshot, or fitting a banner to a fixed ratio.
This tool overlays your selection on the image and lets you set it precisely in pixels or snap it to a standard aspect ratio, then exports just that region as PNG, JPEG or WebP.
Frequently asked questions
Can I lock to a common ratio?
Yes - 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 3:2 and 9:16 presets are available, along with a free-form mode.
How do I set the crop area?
Type the offset and size in pixels, or pick a ratio and use "centre selection". The highlighted overlay shows exactly what will be kept.
Is the crop lossless?
The pixels inside your selection are copied unchanged, but saving as JPG re-encodes them. Choose PNG to avoid any generation loss.
