Frequently asked questions
Are these live rates?
No. OnDevice Tools has no backend, so the app ships with static reference rates. They are indicative only and you can edit any rate.
How do I use my own rate?
Type the rate you were quoted into the rate field and every conversion recalculates from it.
Why not fetch live rates?
That would require calling an external service, which conflicts with the promise that nothing you enter leaves your browser.
