About Case Converter
Naming conventions differ by language and by context: constants in SCREAMING_SNAKE_CASE, CSS classes in kebab-case, JavaScript variables in camelCase, headings in Title Case. Retyping between them wastes time and invites typos.
This converter detects word boundaries in whatever you paste - including existing camel case - and rewrites it in nine different conventions, all updating live as you type.
How Case Converter works in your browser
Each conversion is a distinct transformation rather than a single toggle. Sentence case capitalises after terminal punctuation; title case capitalises each significant word while leaving short articles and prepositions lowercase; camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case and kebab-case first split the input on spaces, underscores, hyphens and existing case boundaries, then rejoin it in the target convention.
The splitting step is what makes conversion between programming conventions reliable: getUserID is recognised as three parts, so it becomes get_user_id rather than getuserid.
Case mapping uses the browser’s Unicode-aware toLocaleUpperCase and toLocaleLowerCase, so accented Latin, Greek and Cyrillic characters convert correctly instead of being passed through unchanged.
